An addition to and renovation of a small house attached to a BIG barn. We used the existing house as an ell and connect a two story Greek Revival addition with extensive porches. We rebuilt the existing kitchen and pantry and addressed a number of design flaws in the old section. The new addition has double stud walls with high levels of insulation, excellent air sealing, triple glazed windows and fiber cement clapboards.
